Routing and Switching: The Network Is the Platform

Cisco Network Systems, which are comprised of Cisco routers, switches, and network management software, are the foundation for the services and applications you need to realize the potential of your business. Together, Cisco switches, routers, and software create an intelligent integrated network that adapts to your current and future business needs.

Cisco Network Systems:
•    Provide secure, but unconstrained, connectivity between employees, customers, and information
•    Deliver quality, real-time applications, such as voice and video, on a converged network platform
•    Ensure access to information and resources from virtually anywhere, anytime
•    Automate a manageable and self-defending, secure, network
•    Reduce your operating expenses

Solution Details
Cisco Network Systems' portfolio of routers and switches provides your business an integrated solution that is secure, solid, and compatible with future technologies. Rather than purchase separate products for individual functions such as, routing, switching, security, WAN optimization, and Internet access, you can integrate everything your business needs to enable anytime, anywhere, secure communications throughout the company and across the Internet.

The Cisco Network Systems end-to-end approach to routing, switching and network management allows all employees - including those at remote sites - access to the same business applications and services, and to each other. This approach also enables technical staff to centrally manage the network, providing reliable service to employees in all locations. Because the solutions are modular, your business can incrementally add or upgrade equipment as needed.

The Cisco Network Systems solutions provide:
  • Secure access and connectivity
  • Business continuity
  • Service and application delivery
  • Automated management
  • Infrastructure consolidation and utilization
  • Communication convergence and real-time collaboration

Security: (Wired / Wireless)

How secure is your network? Let ERS Data Solutions help implement a Cisco network security solution for your business. Integrating security into the network enables your IT department to control, deploy, and enforce policies according to business requirements, remaining secure yet flexible and agile. Protect Your Business with Integrated Security
Using the Network to Identify, Prevent, and Adapt to Threats

Complexity and inconsistency hinder the ability to protect your company's information resources. Trying to connect a variety of individual point products and security devices introduces security gaps, potentially leading to unwanted exposure even in the most secure of environments.

The most comprehensive approach to network security is an integrated solution that combines the following:
  • Existing infrastructure devices with embedded security solutions
  • Security devices that have native network intelligence
  • Security policy in a collaborative and adaptive security system
The Cisco Security Solution
An integrated system provides greater risk reduction than any individual product or combination of disparate and disconnected security devices, regardless of features or performance. Using the network to provide a common, security architecture:
  • Reduces complexity
  • Enables tighter integration
  • Closes risk gaps
  • Provides greater visibility of end-to-end security
