Just released 9/30/09: Motorola Case Study on Extreme Makeover Project:

ERS Data Solutions Group recently deployed a MotoMESH Duo network for The Estridge Companies for use during construction on ABC's "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition".  The Estridge Companies, based in Carmel, Indiana, was the chosen builder for the project in the Martindale-Brightwood area of Indianapolis. The MotoMESH Duo network provided connectivity for the builder, the show's production team, security, and many of the 5000 countless volunteers, with applications ranging from viewing detailed project management plans for the build to volunteers staying in contact with their families.  This rapidly deployed network was instrumental in the organizers successfully meeting the stringent deadlines the show presents.

In addition to the MotoMESH network for the show, ERS Data Solutions Group was a contributing partner, along with Motorola, Inc. in the expansion of that network to form a Free Access Neighborhood (FAN). The FAN was a concept of The Estridge Companies, and brought to fruition during the show with the help of ERS Data Solutions Group and several other partners. The initial FAN will cover a 1/2 square mile, and will grow in size over time. The purpose of the FAN is to provide free wireless internet access to Indianapolis Public School students who live in the Martindale-Brightwood neighborhood and cannot afford basic services necessary in today's struggling public education system. ERS Data Solutions Group is proud to have been a part of this community philanthropic project.
